Job Description

The Dock Worker plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain process, ensuring that parts are efficiently loaded and unloaded from trucks and delivery vehicles. Knowledge of inventory management systems. Responsibilities: Load and unload parts from trucks and delivery vehicles, sometimes utilizing forklifts and other equipment. Packaging parts with appropriate materials or in appropriate format on trucks to prevent damage. Inspect parts/loads for accuracy and damage, reporting any discrepancies. Organize and maintain the shipping dock area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders and inventory management. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all tasks. Skills: The required skills for this position include physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which are essential for loading and unloading shipments efficiently. Attention to detail is critical, as the Dock Worker must accurately inspect shipments and maintain inventory records.
